Date: 29 June 2025
Run: 3/6
Start: The Garage Motor Company
End: Route 44 Market
Distance: ~170km+ of pure driving joy
Cape Townβs streets were soaked β and so were we.
WTN Breakfast Run 3 went down on a moody Sunday morning, but grey skies didnβt stop the noise. The wet weather added character to what turned out to be one of our most cinematic runs yet.
π The Route
We rolled from the industrial dreamscape of The Garage Motor Company through an iconic stretch of the Cape:
- Start: The Garage Motor Company, 165 Upper Camp Road
- R44 to Bettyβs Bay via coastal curves
- Clarence Drive β always a crowd favorite
- Pitstop at Coffee on Clarence for a breather and some rain-refuel
- Pushed through Kleinmond and onto the R43
- Up and over Houwhoek Pass with mist on the mountain
- Pause at Sir Lowryβs Pass View Point β dramatic views despite the clouds
- Final stop at Route 44 Market to unwind and catch breakfast
The full route was wet, winding, and perfect for drivers who love feeling the road fight back a bit.
π The Start
We kicked things off with warm coffee and cold air at The Garage Motor Company β Cape Townβs elite car storage and detailing space. Their support made the morning smooth, offering complimentary washes for WTN cars and creating the perfect staging ground for what was to come.
πΈ The Vibes
Some of our favourite creators pulled up and caught the magic:
π§οΈ Why This One Hit Different
- Wet tarmac = real driving β this wasnβt a parking lot show, it was for people who love cars in motion
- No registration, no gatekeeping β everyone was welcome, and everyone pulled their weight
- Route was longer, tighter, and more scenic than ever
- The community showed up regardless of forecast β loud, proud, and respectful
π Final Word
WTN Breakfast Run 3 wasn’t just a drive β it was proof that the culture is stronger than the weather. It was wet, loud, and absolutely worth every drop of rain. With Run 4 on the horizon and C2K creeping closer, the energy is building.
We donβt just host drives.
We Wake The Neighbours.
